#34: Finding freedom through movement. Sun, sand, surf, and more.

In this episode, let’s dream a bit and let our inner child run loose.  Imagine what an endless summer might look like; sun, sand, swimming and ….. surfing? Why not?

Today I’m chatting with Erika Drolet, co-founder of Salty Souls, coach and now recently, author of the new book called “Surf”.

For the past 10 years, Erika and her Salty Souls team have created unique personal development experiences around the world that include surf, skate boarding and yoga.

In our 34-minute conversation, we discuss:

  • How Erika became a world traveler and the founder of Salty Souls.
  • Her new book and how she got inspired to write it.
  • How popular surfing is with women compared to men.
  • The impact Erika's parents had on her love of traveling and sports.
  • The concept of surf therapy and how it helps her stay physically and mentally healthy.
  • Erika's favourite surf destination.
  • The benefits of travelling the world alone.
  • Taking her experiences with surfing and creating an activity made for mature women.
